WELCOME
CEDIMUH, Hidalguense Music Research and Documentation Center A.C., evokes the symbol of the circle, the spherical cult of totality and perfection. The apex of Anaximander that is installed in the infinite to demystify any border that obstructs the concept of creation.
The graphemes that make up the acronym CEDIMUH stand for the septenary symbol, the seven as a regulator of vibrations, the totality of the universe in motion; a total dynamism which appeals to the permanent renewal, the seven as the number of the hermetic androgyne, a being which integrates all to transcend the ego and the intolerance against otherness.
With these cultural axes supporting our origin, CEDIMUH is conceived as an innovative proposal that opens its doors to all the artistic manifestations of the country and abroad that aspire to preserve - in art - the great contradictions of the human condition.

CEDIMUH proposes the following:
Provide efficient access to cultural information
Preserve the musical heritage of the State of Hidalgo
Encourage any cultural proposal
that motivate people to integrate one another
Respect
creative freedom
in all its manifestations
and artistic expressions

CEDIMUH is primarily constituted with the purpose of rescuing and preserving the musical heritage of the State of Hidalgo, through the research and diffusion of the life and work of its composers and musicians of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

Likewise, CEDIMUH aims to promote, encourage, and support any cultural proposal from Mexico or abroad, with the main purpose of achieving creative freedom in all of its manifestations and artistic expressions. The aforesaid conviction reaffirms that art is the essential source of recognition and acceptance among human beings.
Mission, Vision and Code of Ethics:
Mission. To raise awareness and preserve the musical documentary heritage of the state of Hidalgo, allowing new generations to know it and value it.
Vision. Provide efficient access to cultural information, preserve the documentary legacy of CEDIMUH and achieve a wide dissemination of the musical heritage of the state of Hidalgo.
Code of Ethics. The preservation of musical documentary heritage and access to it has several ethical considerations.
The integrity of the musical documentary heritage must remain intact: it should not be mutilated, censored, manipulated or falsified. Conservation and restoration must not determine or modify the heritage, but rather respect the intentions of its creators.
Those in charge of preserving the musical documentary heritage, will work in a competent, careful and honest way to guarantee its protection and administration.
