Pilar Chehín Salinas

 

    Master Degree in Comparative  Literature from the National   Autonomous University of Mexico. Thesis that obtained an honorable mention and was Candidate for the Alfonso Caso Medal awarded to the best GPAs of the same university.

 

    Bachelor of English Language and Literature from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. In this field, she has taught English as a foreign language in different institutions of the country. Topics of interest: interculturality gender, gender and social construction of discourse, gender identity and sexuality, cultures and masculinity (s), gender and education. With the theme The Pregnant Male, she participated at the Colloquium organized by PUEG (University Program of Studies of Gender of the UNAM). 2008.

Writer of the novel:  Fuga a Dos voces. Advised by the writer Mario Bellatin. FONCA, (National Fund for Culture and the Arts, 2007).

 

    Some of her poems integrated in the anthology: Tribute to Sabines: Here we are… gathered. Compiler: Jorge Contreras. (2010)
